The Girl on the Piccadilly Line is a teacher and education blogger. She lives in North London with her husband and their cat Bubbles who, due to lack of demand, does not have a blog. Her days are spent teaching, writing, eating cheese, worrying about politics and winning Scrabble.
“The Girl on the Piccadilly Line” launched in 2015 to document the trials, triumphs and tribulations of working in education. The blog struck a chord with teachers around the world and received an overwhelming response in its first year including a UK Blog Award, a TES nomination and the wonderfully surreal moment when Jane Garvey read this piece on sex education on Woman’s Hour.
